Pension Credit - How will it be paid to me?

The money can be paid into a bank, building society, or post office account, or it can be via an order book, it is quite flexible.

Normally this is done weekly, however if your pension credit is less than £1/week it will be paid quarterly, and if it is less than 10p/week you will not receive it unless it can be combined with another benefit.

If you apply before October 2004, the pension service will backdate money owed to you from October 2003.
