Pension Credit - Introduction
This service started on October 6, 2003. The average pensioner could expect to receive about an extra £400 per year. The revised scheme is expected to benefit more than 5 million retired people across the UK.
The Government have sponsored a multi-million pound advertising campaign to make people aware of the change in Pension Credit, however many people still have questions that are in need of answers; so we are going to address the biggest concerns, such as:
