Scottish Widows
Scottish Widows was founded as Scotland's first mutual life office in 1815, in 2000 it demutualised and became part of the Lloyds TSB Marketing Group. Headquartered in Edinburgh, the company is now part of Lloyds Banking Group, providing life assurance, savings and investment services and pension products.
The brand is synonymous with its "widow" that was originally played by Debbie Moore, daughter of Roger. In 1994, Amanda Lamb took over until Hayley Hunt became the third Scottish Widow in 2005.
